Sony ericsson W580i is one of walkman series phone with shake control fetures. It has lots of color combination in handset with Urban Grey color, Style White, metro pink and boulevard black. It has 240*320 resolutions with bright, sharp screen. You would get metal keypad after sliding phone. Keypad has limitation with wide fingers. 2 MP camera is covered by abstract screen. The left side of mobile phone has volume control button on other side it has multi function supported point for charging, for headphone and USB port also. At top, you would find memory slot with right top side of power button.

This is walkman phone with walkman v2.0. While listening music you may see album Art, track details like track length, album and artist name there. You may change to your music track to new one by only shaking control. Just press button and shake your phone, your random music would be played. Being of walkman phone, it has good sound quality in terms of clarity of sound, but less in volume than W850i.

You may use your mobile phone with other application making your mobile as pedometer. It has fitness freaks application like jogging, workout. It would calculate your calories used in exercise by motion sensors. It has average FM tuner. It has hide camera phone with slider. So you would have to slide your phone to out side to capture picture. It has 1600*1200 pixel resolution for image. The video record format is ancient QCIF with 176*144 pixels. In low light it has grainy image, but camera quality is nice. It has in-built 12 MB with no hamper to mobile performance. This mobile phone has external memory support with 1GB. It supports to java MID 2.0. It has connectivity with EDGE, GPRS, USB and Bluetooth technology. Transfer between phone and PC is fast.

Pros:
It has lots of pros among some limitation like 2 MP pixel camera with good quality, shake control, fitness application. It is walkman phone so it has walkman v2.0.

Cons:
With some limitation, old video format with QCIF. Keypad is unfitted with large fingers. It is not good in connectivity with mobile service network.
